Duolun Road Cultural Street

Duolun Road is a historic street featuring many historic buildings and has now been converted into a pedestrian and cultural area. Located adjacent to Lu Xun Park and is an “L” type road with a length of more than 500 meters. Red brick or blue brick retro small buildings and character sculptures can be seen along the road, which is very suitable for taking photos. Many writers have lived here, and today there are many art exhibition halls where you can feel the rich cultural atmosphere.

Stepping into the cultural street from the tail of the “L”, the first attraction is the Duolun Museum of Modern Art and Hong De Tang Christian church. Moving on, we can see that a new bookstore next door is a new house with a yellow façade. It used to be the residence of the Japanese Navy.

At the corner is a four-storey clock tower “Eternal Clock Tower”. A few steps away, you can see “Jingyunli”, where a group of leftist writers such as Qu Qiubai, Chen Wangdao, and Mao Dun once lived.

There are also many bourgeois cafés and small folk collections on Duolun Road, such as Shanghai Newspaper Museum, Shanghai Folk Nanjing Clock Collection, Shanghai Duolun Road Shanghai Culture Museum, and Shanghai Cultural Relics Museum.
