The Hong Kong Plaza (or Hong Kong Square) is located in the prosperous Huaihai Middle Road shopping area and is divided into two 38-storey high-rise buildings in the north and south. It is connected by above-ground corridors with the south side offering offices, the north side a luxury hotel (Ascott Hotel), and the 1st to 4th floors offering a high-end shopping mall.

The Hong Kong Plaza shopping mall features lots of luxury brands including Coach, Gap, and an Apple store on the north side and the south side featuring Tiffany, Cartier, a large and popular Jade Garden restaurant on the 3rd floor, and more restaurants on the 4th floor.
