The Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC) is a large modern exhibition complex under western management with a very busy trade show and fair calendar. There are several shows every month here. It has been home to Bakery China, East China fair, CNC Machine Tool Fair, Hotelex, HDE, SIAL, International Photovoltaic Power Generation and Smart Energy Exhibition & Conference, China Building & Construction Fair, CES Asia, P-MEC, Mobile World Congress, Pet Fair Asia, Furniture China, Sign China, Auto Show Pudong, Music China, Brew China, PCT, and CeMAT ASIA.

Getting to Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC)
Metro
Take line 7 to Huamu Road Station and use exit 2
Take metro line 2 or Maglev train to Longyang Road Station and transfer to line 7 and head to Huamu Road Station or about ten minutes walk.
Taxi
A taxi from the city center will take around 30 minutes and cost 40 RMB
A taxi from Pudong Airport will take around 40 minutes and cost around 140 RMB
A taxi from Hongqiao Airport will take around 60 minutes and cost around 100 RMB +
Hotels near Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC)
The Kerry Hotel Pudong is one of the nicest hotels in Shanghai featuring fitness centre, massage & spa, swimming pool, and three onsite restaurants including a craft brewery. It also features a large play center for kids and its attached to the Kerry Parkside Mall which offers modern restaurants and cafes. It is walking distance to SNIEC.
Jumeirah Himalayas Hotel is five-star within walking distance of the SNIEC. It features massage & spa, gym, heated swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, bar, and two onsite restaurants.
The four-star Dorsett Shanghai is the next closest hotel to SNIEC but it is not quite within easy walking distance. For that, they offer a free shuttle service to the exhibition center. The hotel is conveniently located next to Century Park Station which is on line 2 meaning it’s quite easy to zoom in and catch the main attractions such as the Bund, Nanjing Road and Jing’an Temple.
This is a great value pick. It’s a new hotel, three-star, and is located right next to Fanghua Road Station on metro line 7 which means its super easy to get to and from SNIEC. This hotel is usually about a third of the price of those listed so far.

Marked in orange you can see the three entrance halls. In the entrance halls, you will find the registration desks, toilets, VIP Lounge, customer service center, business center, and cloakroom. The metro arrives nearest to entrance hall 2.
